Organization Overview: Welcome to the Toledo Polish Genealogical Society (TPGS)! If this is your first visit, I hope you are able to find what you are looking for. Each year finds us getting involved with different events in the Toledo area. This past year, we joined the Polish Cultural Center (PCC). We are looking forward to working with other Polish groups to preserve our Polish Heritage. A goal of the PCC is to create a place where all Polish groups will feel at home.
In December 2012, TPGS was selected to decorate a room for the Holidays at the Manor House. We decorated the upstairs dining room in the polish Christmas tradition of Wigilia. A group of TPGS members are busily planning their submission to decorate another room in the Manor House.
If you aren’t a TPGS member, we would like to invite you to join us at one of our monthly meetings. Please check the 2016 calendar to find a meeting topic that will interest you. If you are having problems working on your genealogy, you may find, as a member, we are able to help you and who knows, you may find a relative at one of our meetings. A lot of us have found some relatives this way and have been able to fill in some of the branches of our family trees.
